The 2nd International Converting, Package Printing and Labelling Exhibition

Printing Technology Supports Industry
With major advancements in technology, along with a broader range of applications, the printing industry has taken an important role across multiple industries, including electronics, automotive and aerospace, medical devices, textile, and food and beverage. Each industry requires specialized printing methods and inkjets to perform important printing activities. Industrial printing exists around the world, especially in Asia, which holds the highest market value. This reflects the immense number of various manufacturing sectors in this region. ProPak Asia, taking place from 13-16 June 2018 hosts an international gathering of printing technology suppliers and is the must attend platform to source new printing machinery. The PrintechAsia event held alongside ProPak Asia will be the one stop sourcing ground for all printing technology equipment and services.

The packaging and printing market is expected to grow from USD 342.48 billion in 2016 to USD 574.47 billion in 2026 with a CAGR of 5.3%. This growth will be driven by expanding food and pharmaceutical industries in which convenient packaging is becoming more popular. Asia-Pacific, led by China, is likely to be a major region to push the growth of packaging and printing due to positive economic growth and increased manufacturing activities.

Packaging and printing currently focuses more on digital systems – both for inkjet and toner – which are the latest trend for widening print applications for end-users. Digital printing, inkjet in particular, is replacing the traditional printing process due to lower operating costs and less run-time. The volume of digitally printed packaging is forecasted to increase 28.6% per year from 2017-2022, while digital label work will grow 12.4%. Don’t miss Printech Asia Zone which will be showcasing the very latest advancements in digital printing solutions at ProPak Asia designed to lower costs and increase efficiency.
